Mandatory for a real 4WD:
3 manually lockable differentials - but sadly, no more ABS "off"
Unfortunately, the ABS off switch (available in 500 GE and other 463 series Geländewagen like the G 320) is not found in the G500 anymore. The "off" position creates much shorter stopping distances when off-road. However, not all is lost - as soon as the driver activates the center differential lock, ABS is automatically turned off. ABS does not work properly with the center diff locked anyway. Here is more.
